for what they are worth

Hi Richard,
Interesting question. Here's some of mine:
bird calls across the suburb
Miles Davis and most music
poems old and new
raking light on walls and paths
walking
movies that are like dreams
fountain pens
paper
reading on the train
staring into the backyard (and the neighbours' backyards)
white tea and green tea
Cheers, Jill
this milky desert thing called 'Caramel CalciYum'
ditto walking
email
reading in the bath
being driven somewhere
sitting in the sun
sleep
late night phone calls with old friends
dancing
lovely lists! thank you.
jill, i should've added pelikan pens, i like fountain pens, but mine, my favorite, my writerly fetish, is a green ball-point pelikan.
jen, i love email too, and often feel guilty when i don't promptly reply, or when i owe a friend a long one.
yeah - I want the email programme where you receive a lot of mail with no obligation to reply to any of it...
still wandering round that milky desert... :)
jen, tomorrow night i'll be in an elliptical orbit around chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick. they serve those at the california state fair, where every food imaginable is fried and served on a stick, like a popsicle. in a word, yum!
Richard, I have a pelikan fountain pen, amongst others. It's one of my favourites.
Not sure about that chocolate cheesecake on a stick. Cheesecake without the choc wd be good. But fried? I guess you can deep fry everything ... And then dip it in chocolate. Wow. I'm going to have breakfast now, dipped in yoghurt.
