Since there is no afterlife, the only hell is the hell of praying, obeying laws, and debasing yourself before authority figures, the only heaven is the heaven of sin, being rebellious, having fun, fucking, learning new things and breaking as many rules as you can. This act of courage is known as transgression. We propose transformation through transgression - to convert, transfigure and transmute into a higher plane of existence in order to approach freedom in a world full of unknowing slaves.

what if you only reach the point of being a 'knowing slave?'
is what is asked for tenable?
kevin: if you mean like the fictive roy batty, or like me a wage slave? then shit, freedom as zedd somewhat sloppily defines it in his manifesto is probably untenable.
zedd's thinking is like punk rock: nihilist, angry and intended to shock. i supposed what one hopes to achieve in art and life is to participate in the world without all the attendant bullshit.
in other words, we must all live within our civilizations as we know it, at the same time work and live outside it as well.
again, shit. since i'm not making myself clear. i hesitated to post this portion of zedd's manifesto at first but the punk in my responds to it mightily, while the mortgage owner in me is still trying to figure over how to transfigure the life of a 'knowing slave'.
alright, then yer with me given that response
