My favorite part of that film was the part with the laughtrack. I've never been able to watch an sitcom since without realizing how utterly abusive and cruel the so-called humor is.
you mean the beginning with rodney dangerfield, i gather. that was ultra creepy with the laugh track. the entire film was populated by grotesques such as the physical appearance and mannerisms of tommy lee jones and robert downey jr. i got what oliver stone was doing but i'm not sure i bought into his techniques. i don't believe the movie is almost 20 years old and last night was the first time i saw it.
