At 3:57 PM, Richard said...: How are things Richard? Good short poem. I'm working on my project. It is quite cold here but not bad in Auckland. You have an interesting Blog. I see your referenced Carrie Fisher. I wasn't sure who she was. I took my son to that first movie Star Wars in (it must have been 1978! or so). It seems like yesterday. I really liked that movie. My son who lives with me has over the years got all the movies. I didn't know she was dead. I saw Hannah and her Sisters but I didn't realise she was in it. I have been influenced by movies. For some reason I wrote one of my best poems (I think) in reaction to the movie An Innocent Age. I think it was the atmosphere of the film that influenced me not what it was about which I forget.
