 a spring tuesday morning

i heard this song

from a passing car

an ordinary chevy sedan

on its morning commute

but the windows 

were down

the stereo cranked to 11

a scottish voice singing

the beat of bass & drums

& the screaming guitars

the horrors the rope

extinguished 

a voice

the exhortation thru all these years

STAY ALIVE
