big buttery moon

hunger strengthening just look at the moon
all yellow and luscious
i could eat up every last bite
hunger the size of a mack truck
for tonight i'd seen a black big cat
eviscerate a finch
at the bottom of my drive
nothing left but the splayed
crucified carcass of wings
& feet / that hunger was so large
it even took the eyes
