For that matter I also like the name of the English poet William Wordsworth
What an absolutely correct poet's name, Wordsworth.
So evocative of what it is, in the beginning or end, all about.

Thanks for this quote. Didn't know of this book by Meltzer. So I ordered the updated edition.
1977, when the oyez edition came out, I was preoccupied with my first year at the Health Dept. A year later our first child was born. Heady time.
hi tom! so happy to hear from you & that you ordered this book. i can't remember where i picked up the oyez edition but i know it was from a second-hand bookshop for a few bucks. lucky find.
kind of reminded me when i was reading a lot of oppen. i found a copy of mary oppen's MEANING A LIFE [black sparrow press; 1978] in the rare books room in the downtown library. i had to wear white gloves & couldn't take it from the room.
a few weeks later i found a pristine copy at a local second-hand bookstore, black sparrow; 1978 edition, for $4.50. & i didn't need to wear white gloves to read it!
