For letting my friends die
Their wives telling me they won’t be here long

Thank you god
For letting me miss the bus today

And for making me remember my horrible childhood

Thank you god
For reminding me I can’t get out of this alive

Thank you god
For my addictions and sins

Thank you god
For treating me as a particle

For which you and I are too
